The Chocolate Running Out, the Price Hike for Sure

I just read a bit about the chocolate running out. I wonder if it just an activity to drive the price of the chocolate up. I have seen increase in demand when they said that blue berries were good for brain, and then broccoli was a brain food. Every where I go in my house I find jars of coconut. Now that chocolate is going to run out what is going to happen to our teeth. Apparently, dark chocolate is responsible for health of your teeth. Well must have been all these health benefits that made us eat chocolate faster than we can produce.

I was sitting and writing something else when the news about the chocolate popped in the search. The Toronto Star even said that the world will be running out of chocolate because of you. I don't enjoy such headlines, because not all of us are chocolate lovers, and there are millions of people perhaps never tasted the chocolate. Perhaps it would have been better to say, that world will be running out of chocolate because of chocolate addicts.

About the price, I am sure that the price will increase of the chocolate. Not that it is kind of expensive now, especially if you buy cheap chocolate. I also wonder what is going to happen to the shops that specialize in chocolate products. Well everything has an ending and we may have less and less of chocolate.

Let see what others say about the chocolate running out.

Unhappiness

"The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but thought about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking."

~ Eckhart Tolle

Trees, A Photo Quote

"The more often we see the things around us - even the beautiful and wonderful things - the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: the flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds - even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less."

~ Joseph B. Wirthlin

"In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful."

~ Alice Walker

Simple, Patient and Compassionate

Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts,
you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.

~ Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

A human Being is a Part of the Whole Called by Us Universe

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

~ Albert Einstein

The Opposites Everywhere

The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.

~ Elie Wiesel

You Find Strength in Knowing you Have a True Friend and Possibly a Soul Mate

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.

Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.

~ Bob Marley

The Passion of Laughter

"The passion of laughter is nothing else but sudden glory arising from a sudden conception of some eminency in ourselves by comparison with the infirmity of others, or with our own formerly."

Red Umbrella

Mama smiled and grabbed her large bright-red umbrella and tackled it beneath her arm. I hated that umbrella. It was like carrying a big stop sign that made everyone pause and take a notice of us. A ridiculous umbrella for a ridiculous woman.'

...

"But red is the color of revolution." I hoped this would make her consider. Mama stopped walking to look at me. "No, Lucia. The revolution may have taken over a lot of things, but it doesn't own a color. For me, red is the symbol of strength, and that's all it will ever represent."

...

There, in the middle of the small crowd, against the bright blue sky, a big red umbrella opened up. Mama's umbrella. That big stupid thing had never looked so beautiful. A smile edged its way onto may face. Mama had found a way to say good-bye.

Mine is a Long and a Sad Tale!

"You promised to tell me your history, you know," said Alice, "and why it is you hate — C and D," she added in a whisper, half afraid that it would be offended again.

"Mine is a long and a sad tale!" said the Mouse, turning to Alice, and sighing. "It is a long tail, certainly," said Alice, looking down with wonder at the Mouse's tail; "but why do you call it sad?"

And she kept on puzzling about it while the Mouse was speaking, so that her idea of the tale was something like this.

The World Seems to Hold its Breath

"The stillest hour of the night had come, the hour before dawn, when the world seems to hold its breath. The moon hung low, and had turned from silver to copper in the sleeping sky. The old owl no longer hooted, and the water-oaks had ceased to moan as they bent their heads."

The Voice of the Sea is Seductive

"The voice of the sea is seductive; never ceasing, whispering, clamoring, murmuring, inviting the soul to wander for a spell in abysses of solitude; to embrace.

The voice of the sea speaks to the soul. The touch of the sea is sensuous, enfolding the body in its soft, close embrace."

She Was Rather Handsome Than Beautiful

"Her eyebrows were a shade darker than her hair. They were thick and almost horizontal, emphasizing the depth of her eyes. She was rather handsome than beautiful. Her face was captivating by reason of a certain frankness of expression and a contradictory subtle play of features. Her manner was engaging."

Face That Made One Trust Him at Once

"There was something in his face that made one trust him at once. All the candour of youth was there, as well as all youth's passionate purity. One felt that he had kept himself unspotted from the world.

Karma, Cause and Effect

Things Are Not What They Seem

"Later, we realize that things are not what they seem. We begin to understand the relativity of all the things. From this in turn we pass to the final and perfect knowledge in which we know, beyond all doubting, that the world in which we live is only the appearance of the Essence of Pure Mind."
